Wow it would take a year to do a quilt with this slow tedeas technique
Love it. This is the way I have done a couple of xmas quilts that I hand pieced and then hand quilted each square and then joined together.
Thanks for this tutorial! Very helpful :)
That would be good to decorate sweaters and fleece pants.
That helped me….no one thinks to explain counting..Ty!
Thank you !!!
Thank you for this wonderful video! It was so helpful and I feel inspired to pull out my fabric scraps and start playing. Wishing you well! 🌸
Does this do free hand like the brother pq1500sL
Thanks this has helped me out a lot. I was always off because I would count my loops or turning chain.
When making a large shawl, that’s a lot of stitches to count every single row and keep track of. Can you just do it by the visual eye and see when your second row for example, meets the end of the first row and then from there or does that make it uneven? Thx
thank you for showing how to attach a yoga style waist stretch fabric to a non-stretch fabric. I am making a skirt with this type of waist and using the same fabric for the skirt...but i will have fabric leftover.....so now will know how to use it with cotton fabric i have. Sadly, I just cut the tube part out before watching your video-and is only 11 inches. should be fine tho.
Where is the start button?
You are a lifesaver.i have spent more time counting than crocheting. There's hope now
So precious ❤❤❤
Than you!!!
Hi, can you give a general length you cut before the fold? I realize you will probably trim at the end. Also are there some yarns that would be more inclined to unravel at the ends and what would you do to prevent that…or just not fringe them? Thank you!
I know this must be one of the first things we learn when we start crocheting but I started just copying the videos and learning as I go and counting the stitches have always driven me crazy. Thank you so much
Could you turn it over and show us the back as well?
I’m so sad I have to hand sew my jeans…
What is the blue or purple dot on the top right area above the design? I didn't find it in the help menu in index.
This was amazing! THANK YOU, for sharing your time and talent with us!
Would so love to have seen the edges done, that's what I actually needed 😢
Can't wait to try this . Thanks!
It doesnt appear to be gathering on my machine, not sure what im doing wrong
Thankyou, thankyou I have been looking for exactly this to refashion some of my older well loved skirts. 😁👏👏👏👍
Thank you so much. I thought I would have to replace all the elastic.
I am SO glad I watched this before diving into my similar project! I was thinking I'd have to rip up the entire seam and replace the elastic completely!
Oh how refreshing - the first crochet video where the host isnt wearing over the top nail extensions
This tutorial is very clear, both with audio and illustration, good footage that makes it easy to follow. Thanks for sharing!
Nice. I think I might use a glue stick for the batting.
Your video is truly impressive! Just subscribed to your channel and looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Thank you for these fantastic and simple tutorials!! Perfect for what I needed.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!! I'm sooooo excited to finish my skirt!!
Could you do a video and explain how to count rows when work in the back loop :)
Thank you, very pretty
Does it work well for pull on pants? I don't know what is wrong, I am pear shape and my pull on pants won't stand up :(
It should, but it varies from one piece of clothing to the next. Your elastic may be sewn in.
@@KnotsKneedles Thank you!
After I do my chain stitch then turn to go back I measure chain and it is longer after I crochet several rows why
Once you get past the chain row, your rows should be one stitch less than your chain row, if you’re doing single crochet. You should count your stitches as you go, so you can catch when you’re off. It’s possible that you might be adding an extra stitch at the end of your rows. That’s one of the more common mistakes.
The audio was to low
Thank you for the scotch tape trick, i was struggling and about to give up on embroidery lol
Thank you so much for helping me!! I’m used to Husqvarna Viking Software. I have had plenty of them my newest a 6D extra which is old. I still love it, but I got in brilliance because I want to put all of my fonts in and be able to type them. Not insert one at a time. I am watching your video and from the very beginning when you say I am going to bring in a design then you pull down a design we cannot see where the mouse is going so your design is pulled down but from where? I’m sorry I’m new to Mac so if you could tell me where you pulled it down from that would be helpful. Thank you so much.
The design is a file from the internet, but I had downloaded into a folder of designs I created on my Mac, then was able to locate and access from the Embrilliance app using the "open file folder" It has been years since I made this video, and I haven't been doing embroidery for awhile. But there are many helpful videos on RUclips regarding Embrilliance Software...with a Mac computer.
Cute ornament!☃️
These would make great coasters too x
Hi! I'm so sorry I don't understand - do you double over the thread and tie both ends for the away knot? Thank you!
Exactly what I was looking for thank you!
Very good tutorial. Clear and simple explanations. Thank you. ☘️🌝🌲
Thank you for this video it makes a lot of sense and now it makes it a lot easier to count single crochet. I work mostly with double half double trouble pack troubles and I forget what it’s called but it’s the next one up from the travels and I just started doing a single crochet project and forgot how to count the rose. I’ve got a boyfriend that likes to talk when I’m crochet so I keep forgetting my place thank you very much. I love this video.
God bless you. Because this has been SO confusing. Let’s see if I can put it into practice
You totally can! 👍🏼
To complicated
Thank you for this tutorial. I’ve been a little obsessed with CQ for a while now and am just now getting the nerve to try. Your video makes it look doable and gives me courage. You mentioned another video coming about the decorative stitches but I couldn’t find it. Would you share the link?
Beautiful. Could also use long upholstery needle
